Purpose
Gender Queer Coffee Club is an organization run by and for gender diverse adults in Saskatchewan. We serve our community through social activities and peer support.
We acknowledge that our meeting is hosted on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, and Métis. We express respect to the First Nations and Métis ancestors of the area and acknowledge the treaties have not been fulfilled in letter or spirit resulting in the abuse of Indigenous peoples and their cultures. We acknowledge the long history of Indigenous lands, the presence of 2Spirit people since time immemorial, and consider our personal role in respectful relations in moving forward in partnership with Indigenous Nations and their people.
